FC Twente signs Kurowski, central defender on his way out

FC Twente is indeed working on the transfer of Krzysztof Kurowski. The nineteen-year-old left-back has a contract that is expiring at Slask Wroclaw in Poland.

What happened?

TVP Sport reported on Sunday that Kurowski is about to join FC Twente. The young Pole is a left-back, just like Aske Adelgaard.

Why is this important for FC Twente?

Erik ten Hag considers this position a priority after the departure of Mats Rots to TSG Hoffenheim. Kurowski must give John van den Brom an extra option on the left flank of the defense.

FC Twente started preparing for the new season on Monday. Alec van Hoorenbeeck was not part of it, according to Tubantia. The central defender (27) was loaned out to Heracles Almelo last season and is now working on a new transfer.
