FC Twente is interested in signing South African international Oswin Appollis from Orlando Pirates for around 1 million euros. Appollis can play on the wing or as an attacking midfielder and is not the tallest player in his team at 1.71 meters. The 24-year-old player is also a South African international and has scored eight goals in 26 international appearances. He is currently with his country at the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, where South Africa will face host Mexico, the Czech Republic, and South Korea. According to Transfermarkt, Appollis has a market value of 2.5 million euros, and it is unclear if Orlando Pirates will agree to a bid of 1 million euros. The South African club took Appollis over from Polokwane City in the summer of 2025. This season, he has scored nine goals and provided six assists in 30 competitive matches.
