FC Twente unveiled its new team bus on Wednesday afternoon, a project brought to life together with mobility partner Brookhuis. The bus, which fans could view during the Open Day, blends local design with a modern look.
How was the design created?
More than two hundred submissions poured in, with four finalists selected. The winning design weaves the letters “FC Twente” together with the names of all season ticket holders’ hometowns. Fans therefore had direct influence on the club bus’s appearance, a rare example of supporter participation.
Why does Brookhuis remain the mobility partner?
Brookhuis recently extended its contract until 2033, extending the partnership beyond a decade. The partner not only provides the bus but also supports logistics and sustainable transport for players and staff. This long‑term relationship strengthens club identity and offers continuity on and off the pitch.
What does the new bus mean for the club?
The bus acts as a rolling ambassador during away matches and events. With its eye‑catching design it draws extra media attention, boosting visibility for sponsors and the club. Moreover, the modern facility gives players more comfort while traveling, indirectly supporting on‑field performance.
How does this fit into the current season?
At present FC Twente sit fourth in the Eredivisie with 58 points, a record of 15 wins, 13 draws and 6 losses from 34 games. The team has scored 59 goals and conceded 40 this season (+19 goal difference), while sitting 26 points behind leaders PSV Eindhoven. These figures highlight a competitive campaign where any extra boost, like the new bus, is welcome.
The bus presentation was a festive moment for both club and supporters. With fan involvement in the design and the extended partnership with Brookhuis, FC Twente takes a step forward in branding and operational efficiency.
