FC Twente has officially confirmed the arrival of Krzysztof Kurowski through a press release on Wednesday evening. The 19-year-old left-back makes the switch from Polish side Slask Wroclaw to Enschede.

What happened?

Krzysztof Kurowski signed a contract on Wednesday afternoon that binds him to FC Twente until mid-2030. The agreement also includes an option for an additional season.

Why is this important for FC Twente?

Technical director Erik ten Hag is enthusiastic about the new recruit. “Krzysztof is a young talented defender who has already gained experience in the Polish competition at a young age. Krzysztof has a strong character, good game insight and a drive forward. He gets the chance to take the next step in his career at FC Twente, which has potential.”

What comes next?

The Wroclaw-born defender completed the full youth training at Slask Wroclaw. In August 2023, he made his debut in the first team of the club from his hometown. Additionally, Kurowski represented Poland at youth level in the national teams Under 17 and Under 19.
