FC Twente strengthens with the arrival of Aske Adelgaard. The 22-year-old Danish defender comes from Go Ahead Eagles and signs a contract until mid-2030 with an option for another season. Aske Adelgaard will wear the shirt of FC Twente in the coming season. The defender has gained experience in the Eredivisie with Go Ahead Eagles and knows what is expected in the Netherlands. He fits in with the way FC Twente plays and wants to contribute to the ambitions of the club. Erik ten Hag is happy that Aske Adelgaard has chosen FC Twente. Aske Adelgaard: "I am happy to be here. Aske Adelgaard started playing football at a young age with Odense BK and played between 2019 and 2021 for the Danish Randers. In 2021, he returned to the club from his hometown. In the summer of 2024, he made the move to Go Ahead Eagles. With the Deventer club, he won the KNVB Beker and played 49 duels in the Eredivisie so far. Aske Adelgaard is a 12-time international for Jong Denemarken.
